What is vinyl wall art? Vinyl is a super thin, self-adhesive material that comes in every color of the rainbow. It arrives perfectly spaced (hence our name) and with easy indicators to help you apply your item centered. It is a no muss, no fuss way to decorate your home, allowing for the look of hand-painted walls without the drying time! The material is thin enough that it conforms to the texture of your wall, making it look even more like it was painted on, but allowing you to easily remove it if you should ever change your décor. But that’s not all! Vinyl can be used for a number of things that have nothing to do with the walls of your home. You can use it on your car to advertise for your business, or simply wish people “Happy Holidays” during the holiday season. It can also be used to make yard sale signs, for sale signs, etc. Vinyl is so versatile you can use it on any flat, non-porous surface. The sky’s the limit! How do you apply the vinyl wall lettering? It’s as easy as 1-2-3! The application process differs depending on the size of your item, so a member of our design team graciously produced a DEMONSTRATION VIDEO to show you how to apply both large and small items. Every order comes with easy to follow, full color instructions which can be viewed HERE. Also, every item comes with a FREE practice decal, so you can try it out, before you apply your actual item.

Will the vinyl harm my walls? The vinyl that we use is of the utmost quality. Our supplier has assured us that this vinyl contains an adhesive that is completely removeable and repositionable. This vinyl has been tested to come off easily even after being applied for several years in many different environmental conditions. We recommend that if your vinyl has been up for a significant amount of time, and does not want to peel up easily, you simply heat it for a short time using a blow dryer, in which case it should just “melt: off the wall. If your wall is painted a dark color, and is exposed to a great deal of sunlight, it is possible that when you take your vinyl down, a “shadow” of it will still appear on your wall. This occurs because over time, sunlight can “bleach” your wall, while the vinyl would serve as a protection for your wall, leaving the wall color underneath unchanged. Please apply and remove vinyl at your own discretion.

How do you tell what size you need? The measurements listed in our shop will tell you! The sizes reflect from the top of the tallest letter, to the bottom of the lowest letter. This is also true of items that have more than one line. There are no math equations required! Measure your space, and pick the size that would best suite your needs. Our measurements are rounded to the closest half an inch, so there is a built in margin of error.

How soon will my order ship? We are very proud of our quick turnaround time! Most orders ship within 24 hours of receipt of payment. Certain colors we offer in our shop are less popular, and are therefore not always in stock. If you order one of these colors, we will require an additional 2 business days to produce your item. At certain times during the year, whether it be the holidays, or a sale, we may be busier than anticipated. In which case, we would ask that you allow at least 3 business days for your item to ship. In contrast, certain times of the year may be less busy, and we will cut down on the number of days we ship items. During these times, we will ship on TUESDAYS, THURSDAYS, and SATURDAYS. We ship via USPS parcel post, with an average shipping time of 2-3 days. In most cases, you should have your item in hand within a week.

What forms of payments do you accept? Currently, all of our orders are processed via PayPal, but you do not need to have a PayPal account to shop with us. PayPal can also process Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express credit cards, as well as making an e-check payment directly from your checking account. We do this so that we know your payments are secure until we get our site secured to accept payments directly. We do NOT accept personal checks from out of state, but we DO accept money orders. If you are interested in the money order option, contact us, and we will send you the information you need to mail us the money order. Once we receive it, we will ship your item, easy as that.

How do I know what color would look best? There are a few rules of thumb when deciding what color to order. First, you want to think about contrast. For example, lighter colors show up better on darker surfaces, and darker colors show up better on lighter surfaces. If you are looking for a subtle accent, that isn’t really obvious, we would suggest something just a little lighter or darker than your actual surface. For your convenience, we offer FREE color swatches that can contain up to 6 different colors of your choosing. These swatches are big enough that you will be able to adequately tell if there is enough contrast between your wall color, and the vinyl color to satisfy your curiosity. This is also an excellent option because the colors may appear different on each individual computer screen. What kinds of surfaces can I apply my vinyl art to? Vinyl is so versatile that it can be applied to any smooth, non-porous surface. If you walls are heavily textured, you may struggle to get it to stick, but by going slowly, and patiently it should work. It also handles simple curves beautifully. Use it to dress up a lamp or a vase, any glass surface. Once applied, your vinyl is waterproof, so it can easily be applied to car windows without worrying what exposure to the elements would do to it. Vinyl cannot be applied to a surface such as brick. MOST painted surfaces accept vinyl just fine, but if you have a high gloss finish in your paint, it could resist the adhesive, so keep this in mind before you place your order.

What if I make a mistake when applying my wall art? Hey, accidents happen! We understand this, and that is why we will work with you to correct whatever issue you may have encountered when applying your wall art. If a specific letter tore while being applied, we may just send you a replacement word or letter, while if you hung your item crooked (to the point that it is completely unusable) or upside down, we will work with you to replace the item at little to no cost to you. To submit a request for replacement due to customer error, contact us at: . We ask that you submit a picture of the issue, just to assure us that the item is, in fact, not usable. Complete customer satisfaction is our goal, and we will work tirelessly to achieve it.

If I decide I don’t like it, can I get a refund? Unfortunately, because we are such a small company, just trying to establish ourselves, we cannot at this time offer refunds simply because you changed your mind about the item. If you don’t like it because you thought it was going to be either bigger or smaller than it actually was, we would be more than happy to work with you to correct that issue. The sizes listed in the shop are formatted so that the width is first. For example: in 23” x 7” the item would be 23 inches wide, by 7 inches tall. The listed size is rounded to the nearest half an inch, to allow for a “margin of error”.

Do you offer bulk or wholesale prices? We are pleased to offer both bulk and wholesale prices! The main difference is that bulk orders are priced for small groups, and are NOT meant for retail sale. This option is perfect for groups of friends that are interested in the same item, or organizations that are hosting a craft night, and need several of the same item. There is a minimum bulk order of 5, so keep this in mind when you contact us. Wholesale orders are priced lower, and are meant for vendors to purchase in much larger quantities. These items are meant for retail sale at stores or boutiques. Wholesale orders have different terms and conditions than bulk orders, so please be specific about which you are interested in when you contact us for a quote.

I’d like to feature you in a giveaway, how do I do it? We offer a limited number of giveaway spots per month. When you host a giveaway, you not only get a gift card to give away on your blog, but you also get one to keep for your personal use, as a “thank you” for hosting us, and helping to direct traffic to our website. Do you do custom orders? ABSOLUTELY! We love custom orders! Simply email us at: , tell us what your vision is, and we will compile 1-2 samples for you to approve. We will work with you personally until you are 100% satisfied with the sample. Then, let us know what measurements you want, and we will quote you a price. If we love the item too, we could contact you to negotiate terms of making the item part of our store. So what are you waiting for?

Do you do fundraisers? We would LOVE to help your group raise funds! In the past, we have created car decals for Parent/Teacher Organizations, but could also create items for Scout troops, or Sports organizations. How this works, is that we sell these items to you at wholesale prices, with suggestions of how much your group could then sell them for. On average, these items allow for a 100%-200% profit. These are custom items that will be designed especially for you to suite the needs of your organization. Spaces are limited as to not overwhelm our small company, so contact us quickly if you are interested!

I like one of your quotes, but not the design. Can I change it? ABSOLUTELY! To do this, it would technically become a “custom” order, but depending on the size and complexity of the design, the price should remain comparable to that of the original item. Contact us at: to get started!

Can I add accents to my “design your own” project? Unfortunately, you cannot add accents to your “design your own” project YET. Our web designer is working to make this possible in the future, in what we lovingly call: “perfectlyspaced.com 2.0”. If you do want an accent added, you can do this one of two ways. First, you can contact us for a “custom order, where you can sample your entire item until you are 100% satisfied. Second, you can order your “design your own” project and make a note in your invoice that you are interested in adding an accent. We will then contact you via Email to offer some choices and sizes, and once satisfied, we will send a separate invoice just for the accent (if it changes the size of the item dramatically) or just add it to your order free of charge. Both items would ship together, and if you wanted the accent in the same color as the other item, it will be all in one piece. If you wanted the accent in a different color, it will arrive in a separate piece, and will most likely require an additional fee.

Do you charge sales tax? We do, but at this time we only charge sales tax for Texas residents, because that is where our company is based. A charge of 8.25% will be added to all Texas orders once you proceed to checkout. The good news is, that our system is set up to read the address of the purchaser, and should you be a Texas resident, our system will automatically give you a 10% discount to make up for the sales tax. We offer this as a courtesy, to encourage our fellow Texans to buy from us instead of the competition, regardless of the sales tax issue. Best of all, this discount does not require a coupon code, or a gift card number, so you can still use a coupon code or gift card IN ADDITION to your 10% discount. There are people trying to get the law changed so that all online vendors have to pay a flat rate sales tax, so should that ever go through, we will either adjust our prices accordingly, or offer bigger discounts down the road.

Do you offer gift cards? We actually offer two different kinds of gift cards that work the same way. We have physical plastic gift cards, or we have online gift cards. We will automatically assume that when you purchase a gift card you intended to receive the plastic card in the mail, and that is what we will do, unless otherwise indicated. If you would prefer an online gift card, make a note of it upon checkout with the email address you want the gift card code sent, or shoot us an email at: and we will respond with the gift card code. Both types of gift cards can be purchased for any dollar value, and have no expiration date.

Can I expedite my order? Absolutely! If you are in a bit of a time crunch, and need your order expedited, just choose the shipping option you want upon checkout, and we’ll put the pedal to the metal. Expedited orders will take precedence over normal orders, and will move to the top of the production schedule. There is a difference between standard and expedited shipping charges, so please be aware of this before choosing this option. If it is a really busy time, and an unexpected number of customers choose this option, it may arrive to you faster once shipped, but production time may be about the same as standard orders. Please allow plenty of time when ordering gifts!

Can I check my order status? It’s easy! Simply click on the “order status” button on the lower right hand side of any page, and it will prompt you to sign in. Just sign in using the same email address and password that you established when you ordered, and you will find out exactly what stage of production your item is in. Unfortunately, we do not offer order tracking once the item is shipped, but we may do so in the future.

Can I get a different size than the ones offered? MOST of our items can come in different sizes than those listed. The reason is that certain items have a minimum size just based on the complexity of the design. Most of our items can be made bigger with no problem. If you like one of our items, but need it in a different size, or two lines turned into 1 long line, contact us so we can quote you a price.

Do you offer discounts? Oh boy, do we ever! First, we offer a discount to Texas residents to help make up for the sales tax they will have to pay. This discount is automatic and stress free. We are also sponsors of the E-Club of L-3 in Greenville, Texas. But that’s not all! How long will my vinyl wall art last? Our supplier has assured us that our vinyl products will last 3 years if used outdoors, and a lifetime if used indoors. “Lasting” does NOT guarantee that the color will not fade when exposed to the elements and sun on your vehicle, so please do not be surprised if the color fades slightly when used outdoors. The life of the product also depends on whether or not the vinyl was applied properly to begin with. If you apply vinyl to a dirty or dusty surface, it may not last as long, so if you want it to last as long as it was designed to, please apply as directed.

How do I remove my vinyl wall art? The vinyl can be easily removed by pulling up on an edge of the item. If it has been up for a long time, it is quite possible that it will resist being removed, in which case you can warm up the art slightly with a blow dryer. This should cause the vinyl to just “melt” off the wall. Also, if it has been up for a significant amount of time, it may become less repositionable.
